Obrafour will headline the maiden edition of GhanaFest RVA in Virginia, USA, on March 6, organizers say.

The three day event, which is in commemoration of Ghana’s Independence Day celebrations, will also have a Cultural Exhibition,Youth Rally, and Food Festival as side events.

“This is event is specially designed to expose our culture to people in our community here in Virginia,” Lois Yankah who is part of the organizing team, says.

“It’s to showcase our Ghanaian music, art, culture and dance to the residents of Richmond Virginia and beyond.

“Obrafour will be giving a talk on recording, writing and performing music during the day on Friday March 6 before performing to all patrons who will be attending the independence celebration at Altria Theatre in the evening.”

The event will be hosted by Sheilah Belle from Praise FM in Richmond Virginia.
