Kaakie and popular Ugandan Dancehall act, Eddy Kenzo, have been named as headline acts for a major concert in Gabon on January 16.

The Xtra Large Music (XLM) artiste will also be joined in concert by a good number of local acts including Ba’Ponga, Defunzu, and Latchow among others.

Dubbed “Tous Derrière Les Pantheres” (All Behind the Panthers), it is being organized by AFJ Productions and Airtel Gabon, and will take place at the Nzeng-Ayong Stadium.

Kaakie is expected to leave Ghana today, label executives at XLM have told enewsgh.com.

“Kaakie was expected in Gabon for concert in September 2014 but the show was postponed; due to the Ebola epidemic. But we’ve been confirmed for this new scheduled date and we will be there for sure. We look forward to a very exciting experience in Gabon with Kaakie,” Elorm Beenie, PR executive at XLM says.
