Host of LIVE 91.9 FM’s late afternoon show, Kwame Faakye, has left the station, enewsgh.com can authoritatively say.
Faakye, who joined the Tesano-based station from XFM, is leaving to pursue other interests. He hosted his last show on December 31.
Station sources are tight-lipped on the departure of the former Atlantis Radio evening drive host. They are yet to name a replacement.
enewsgh.com can however say that Antoine Mensah, host of the station’s Saturday morning show ENT LIVE, and a super sit-in sub for most of their programmes, is likely to take over.
Faakye’s departure was imminent.
He was part of an impressive pool of talents including former YFM sweetheart Jeremie Van-Garshong, brought in to steer affairs after Vibe FM morphed into LIVE.
