Broadcaster and events host Kwesi Kyei Darkwah, popularly known as KKD, is being held at the Airport Police Station in Accra, for an alleged rape related offense.

Darkwah was reported by a lady (yet to be identified) who claimed he had raped her. He has since denied the charge, insisting the act was consensual.

Police have remained silent on the issue but enewsgh.com sources say his lawyer has visited him at the station, hoping to offer some aid.
