Nana Asante Bediatuo, Counsel for broadcast and events host, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, popularly known as KKD, says claims of rape leveled against the latter is false and ridiculous.

Speaking to Accra-based Starr FM, Bediatuo said: “It is not true that he has raped anybody. He had a consensual relationship with a woman and for some reason – I don’t know and I don’t care what her motive is – she now claims it’s rape but that is false.”

Bediatuo and some family persons including his cousin Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) visited Darkwah on Sunday, police sources say.

Rape is a non-bailable offense in Ghana. Bediatuo says the police are expected to process him for court in the next 48 hours.
