Former Joy FM Presenter, Bernard Nasara Saibu, has joined Ring Road-based Starr FM, enewsgh.com can say.
He joins a team that already has in its fold some of his former working colleagues in Bola Ray, Nii Ayi Tagoe, Kweku Obeng Adjei, Cox Tamakloe, Paa Kwesi Asare, and Kojo Antwi among a host of others.
Saibu will host news and current affairs related programmes, this website can report.
His departure from JOY FM was only a matter of time, after he was replaced on the morning show with former ATL FM presenter, Kojo Yankson.
In what became a not so enjoyable ride at the Kokomlemle-based station, he may find some joy in a Starr that has so far shone well.
Starr FM is owned by Kwabena Duffour and Bola Ray’s (the latter is a shareholder) EIB Network – mother company for a number of outlets including Ultimate Radio in Kumasi, Cool FM in Cape Coast, HI FM in Koforidua, Empire FM in Takoradi, and Agoo FM in Nkawkaw. A new Twi-speaking mass market station for Accra will soon be added.
