A new radio station will soon go live in the capital, enewsgh.com can exclusively say.

Adepa FM, as it would be called, is owned by EIB Network, the Bola Ray and Kwabena Duffour-led media group that also operates the Meridian House-based, Starr 103.5 FM.

EIB Network also owns the revampedUltimate Radio in Kumasi, which is to begin full transmission on December 5 – as well as Cool FM (Cape Coast), Hi FM (Koforidua), Empire FM (Takoradi), and Agoo FM (Nkawkaw).

enewsgh.com can say that the new station will compete in the Twi-speaking, mass market demographic, a move that is to offer the group some presence across the many formats urban radio accommodate.
