Musician, Kwaw Kese, who was arrested by the police in Ashanti Region on Saturday evening for smoking a substance believed to be cannabis, is to appear in court today.

Kese, who was in the company of some friends when he was arrested, will make the appearance after being denied bail hours after the arrest.

He is to be charged provisionally for use of narcotic drug without lawful authority, police say.

The police say they have a good reason to put him before court, insisting the musician can’t deny he was using the substance.

“We all know cannabis and he will not deny, he hasn’t denied,” the police have said.
