Each episode will focus on a different prison programme, following a group of at-risk teens and preteens going through the programme and then catching up with them two months later.
The young people featured in this show will have close interactions with prisoners whose life choices led to incarceration, offering a warning about where their lives may be heading if they don’t change their ways.
Beyond Scared Straight is a combination of confrontation, information and compassion to try and help these at-risk youths turn their lives around.
