Former JOY FM sweetheart, Matilda Asante (now Matilda Asante Asiedu), is the new host of TV3’s current affairs program, Agenda.

Asiedu, replaces former host, Francis Ankrah, who was taken off the show last month. READ STORY HERE

She will be expected to offer a new, inspiring direction to the show away from what Ankrah provided.

An experienced broadcasting head, she hosts her first edition on September 4, in what is expected to be the beginning of another journey in mainstream media.

Asiedu left JOY FM (1997 to 2009), to take up a senior management role at Access Bank Ghana, as Head, Corporate Communications and Brand Management.

She is a fellow of the One World Broadcast Trust UK, and Les Aspin Centre for Governance USA, and the International Women’s Media Forum USA.

Asiedu holds a Masters in Journalism Degree from the Cardiff University in the United Kingdom.
