One of the longest-serving presenters of the Accra-based Happy FM, Dr. Cann, has left the station, enewsgh.com can reveal.

Cann hosted his last show (Showbiz Extra)  yesterday, and will join the Multimedia Broadacsting Company-owned, HITZ FM, we can also tell you.

He is leaving Happy FM, which is heavy on sports programming, to HITZ, largely arts and entertainment, and more urban.

One of the early names to join the 98.9 lads, he spent some 9 years on air, and hosted several programs, the two most recent being the Drive (now being hosted by Afia Schwarzenegger) and the weekend entertainment discussion show, Showbiz Extra.

He joins the likes of Kwame B, Black Eye, Andy Dosty, Doren Avio, Gizo, and Nanahemaa among a host of other young heads.
