Rising Reggae artiste, Redfyah, will host a concert aimed at promoting peace in Bolé, in the Northern Region of Ghana.

The event will take place on September 20, and will feature some big local names.

Th concert according to the organizers is “to enforce a peace deal between his family folks from the Gbondaape Royal Gate who for some time have seen some chieftaincy rivalry. The date for the concert was strategically placed a day before the Founder’s Day for Dr. Kwame Nkrumah on September 21.

He says:

“This concert means a lot to me because I am directly linked to both divides within the Gbondaape Royal Gate. Things and times are changing and to bring development and growth to the area one cannot ignore the need for peace to prevail in the area.

“The fact that the effort of some key members involved to unite both divides are underway, I strongly believe that if I add my voice to it too the results would see the two families uniting which is my main objective for this concert.

“That’s why I am involving my fellow acts from down South to join us here in the North. This way I am helping market my home to my colleague acts from Accra and other places to come nice up the concert with us. Peace, Love and Unity is what the world needs most in these serious times.”

The show would be hosted by King Lagazee, and Reggae/Dancehall blogger, Elorm Beenie.
