There is finally some good news for Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan after a month of gloom following the disappearance of his best friend Castro during a holiday jaunt.

Allsports.com.gh can exclusively reveal that the striker is the proud father of a baby girl born to his wife .

Gyan who keeps his family life very private is already the father of three sons with his partner and the newest addition has been received with “joy and celebration in a time of darkness” a family confidant revealed to Allsports.com.gh.

“Babies are the best gift in life, she’ll fill my heart with oodles of love and joy since the past days have been bizzare, praises be to God.” Asamoah Gyan added.

Asamoah Gyan already has 3 sons to his name. Frederick, the eldest,  Floyd and Rafael.

A lot of soccer fans might be surprised that the publicly ebullient Gyan has been married for almost half a decade.

He is rarely seen with his wife or children in public and he refrains from speaking about them or being photographed with them in public.
