Standing at a height of 167cm/5’6’, model Nunana Awoonor isn’t what your typical model is supposed to look like.

She has however braved all odds to make it in a competitive and sometimes discriminatory industry in the United States of America for five years and counting.

“… Like maybe I will be the path or the way for the shorter girls who look good but are not all that tall to become professional models” was her response to what keeps her going in an interview early this year.

She does editorial, fashion, commercial, sports, glamour, fitness, lifestyle, beauty and lingerie shoots and shows as well. Makeup Forever, DEX Cosmetics, Mary Kay, Nissan, Neon Aeon (LookBook Model for vintage brand 2013/14) and Lipton Pure Leaf are a few of the brands/companies that she’s worked with.

 

Nunana’s got a very kind heart, she loves modelling for charity purposes aside commercial jobs.

She is currently pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts, Interior Design at the Academy of Art University in the United States of America.

Nunu Vaness as called fondly by friends and family is the founder and Chief Executive officer of NVA Marketing and Promotions, an event staffing and promotional marketing company.
