Komla is being brought home to the community!

You are cordially invited to celebrate the life of the late Komla Dumor, beloved Husband, Father, Son and BBC journalist. 

The widow and family, in collaboration with the Ghana High Commission UK and the Ghana Union UK, invite you to join them in a traditional Ghanaian memorial gathering as a final farewell.

This memorial aims to give Ghanaians in the UK and, indeed, anyone who was unable to attend the funeral proceedings in Ghana an opportunity to join the widow and family to celebrate the life of Komla and his dedication to telling the African story.

“My commitment to Ghana and Africa is not in doubt – I served most of my professional life in Ghana and anyone who knows my record, knows I was tough on all sides…The only thing I want to achieve here is that we too can make it on a global platform.”
