Box Office Promotions has agreed to a postponement of the mega fight between Bukom Banku and Ayitey Powers after an intervention by the Ghana Boxing Authority though it’s president Peter Zwennes.

Allsports.com.gh can confirm that  the Authority will appeal to pay TV company Supersport to  consider the new date for the bout after its heavy investment in the April 18 bout.

Sources close to both parties told Allsport.com.gh that the meeting lasted close to eight hours with neither party willing to budge until the May 2 date came up.

Allsports.com.gh sources also indicate that Ayitey Powers is using the purported prophecy as a charade to hide a long term injury that he is recovering from.

“Powers has an injury but due to the circumstances emanating from the T.B Joshua episode,he used it to get the delay he had been looking for,” the source revealed.
