The mother of Lazy, a member of hiplife group VIP, is dead. Fellow musician, and a friend to the group Reggie Rockstone, broke the news on Twitter this morning.

Details on cause of death are very scanty but sources say she was sick.

Lazy (now known as Zeal) is one of two surviving members of the group, after Promzy (now Known as Promzy Afrika), left to pursue a solo career.
