A former morning show host of JOY FM’s Super Morning Show, he joined the BBC in 2006.

In what was one of the fastest rise to global recognition, he within a very short time, became one of the British broadcaster’s most prized assets.

Dumor was the 2003 winner of the Ghana Journalist Association’s Journalist of the Year award.

He was to be made the face of the BBC for the upcoming World Cup in Brazil.

He was 41, and left behind three children.
