Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, the Ghanaian Dancehall superstars whose onstage clash marred this year’s Ghana Music Awards held at the Accra International Conference Centre weeks ago, will host a joint press conference today June 4, ENews can confirm.
Per neck–deep sources associated with both acts, the event (dubbed the “Peace Conference”) which comes off the heels of a reconciliation meeting days ago, will see both acts publicly trash their differences and present a united front moving forward.
The pair, who have been banned indefinitely from Ghana’s elite music awards following the punch-up that resulted in the brandishing of multiple guns and the dispensing of pepper spray, are also widely speculated to launch a joint concert to consolidate the end of their long-running feud (the biggest Ghana has witnessed in something like a decade).
The highly anticipated presser comes off at the Marriot Hotel in Accra at 10 am. It is being held under the auspices of the Kofi Abban Foundation.
