Ghana Meets Naija, West Africa’s biggest concert, returns to Accra for the 9th year, and not unsurprisingly, parades a super-squad of African and Caribbean performers –from Teni to Medikal, Wande Coal to J. Derobie.
A comprehensive lineup, announced today in Ghana’s capital, also comprises Patapaa, R2Bees, Victor AD, J Derobie, Tulenkey, Quamina MP, Bless, Kelvyn Boy, Ras Kuuku, and Kofi Mole.
The rest are Koko Trey, A.K Songstress, Opanka, Young Rush, Sultan and Moses Fameye, and special acts from Barbados.
On turntable duty is DJ Vyrusky, with DJ Putin, and Crowd Controller being facing off in the battle rounds. The venue for the 2019 edition is the Accra International Conference Centre.
Overt the period that the concert has run, it has been graced by every big artist on the continent, and perpetually served copious memories and iconic thrills. Little wonder it is perpetually overbooked.
The Ghana Meets Naija concert is an Empire event.
