Trigmatic, the beloved Ghanaian rapper most famed for the joint “My Life,” has  been involved a near-death experience during a trip to Takoradi.

The accident occurred yesterday, March 17, when the vehicle the rapper was traveling in, a silver Audi 4×4, rammed into an abandoned truck  on the road. Fortunately, Trigmatic escaped unscathed–but not his vehicle, whose bumper and bonnet were severely damaged.

The rapper, who recently retired from radio, took to social media to thank God for sparing his life, quoting portions of Psalm 23: “Though I walk through the valleys of the shadow of death, I fear no evil.” His Facebook post also contained lamentation on “the level of carelessness on our roads,” a phenomenon he describes as “crazy”.

Trigmatic (Enoch Nana Yaw Oduro- Agyei) takes his “My Life Concert” to  Kumasi this Friday, March 22 at the  Ol Lady’s Sports Bar & Lounge. He is reportedly currently working on his 4th studio album.
