Slated for the Fantasy Dome (Trade Fair Centre, Accra), the much anticipated BF SUMA Connect Concert will also have as headline act, dancehall singer, Shatta Wale —organisers have announced. And while the initial line-up (consisting Olamide, Tiwa Savage, Wendy Shay, KiDi, Kuami Eugene, MzVee, La Même Gang, and Dope Nation) was already stellar, Wale’s addition makes it the more exciting.
Shatta Wale, who days ago, singlehandedly filled the venue during the launch of his “Reign” album, rendering well-known anthems which have made him indispensable in Ghana music, is widely expected to repeat the iconic performance as he makes the grand return.
He is also expected to pair up with Nigerian hit machine, Olamide in performance. Olamide is the single feature on Wale’s album, and is responsible for ubiquitous jams including “Wo” and “Science Student.”
The gig comes off October 27, and is being held in celebration of the international pharmaceutical company’s 10-year milestone in Ghana. Early bird tickets have already sold out.
BF Suma GHANA CONNECT 2018 is produced by Empire.
