Young Ghanaian turntablist, DJ Switch (Erica Tandoh) was guest and performer at this year’s Goalkeepers Conference at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City; a Bill & Melinda Gates —founded gathering for global leaders and dignitaries to discuss poverty, inequality and disease, and contemplate approaches that are “working, what’s not and to forge new partnerships for action.”
Held on September 25 & 26, the conference saw the effervescent DJ —2017 winner of TV3’s Talented Kids contest, and the youngest ever winner at the 6th annual Ghana DJ Awards — perform for, and interact with global icons across spheres; President of France, Emmanuel Makron, Melinda Gates, Supermodel, Naomi Campbell among others.
