The words with which rapper Edem ended his video tirade after recently popping up on an alleged list of musicians reported to have taken money for performing at late singer, Ebony Reigns’ tribute concert earlier this year, have found their way unto his new song — a B2-produced dance piece on which the VRMG man also name-drops John Dumelo, Joselyn Dumas, Shatta Wale, Moesha Boduong, Rev. Mensah Otabil, and Nigeria’s Davido —who have constituted social media fodder lately  for their recent actions or inactions— admonishing them to ignore unnecessary scepticism by detractors.

“Fuck all o’ y’all,” the rapper famously thundered in the brief video published on social media August 15, concluding his rant addressing the allegations by Nana Poku Kwarteng —father of the late singer — that he was presented with a list by Ricky Agyeman (Bullet), boss of Rufftown Records, the label that housed Ebony —consisting artists as Edem, who was paid GHC3000 to perform at the concert. Other artists named on the list include Epixode, Coded, Captain Planet, Epixode, Raquel among others —who were claimed to have received various amounts.

Nearly all the acts have denied taking money to mount that stage, expressing disappointment that their reputations would be soiled in this manner, when their intentions were clean.

After Edem’s reaction, he came under enormous public ridicule for employing a “fake” accent. This new record sees him use those very words, impishly stylised as “Fokoloyor” as ammunition, well, to whom it may concern.
