Born Yahaya Abdul Rauf, Young Trixx Flomorce is the latest star echoing from boogie down Nima, which is the most important constituency for many a Ghanaian artist.

Inspired by Sarkodie and Shatta Wale, the ‘your love’ singer is about to take the music industry by storm. ‘Your Love’, his break tune is currently a street banger in Nima-Mamobi. It is an expressive romantic love tune which, Trixx in his own words claims is an unadulterated love for his community.

A sit down chat with Trixx Flomorce easily betrays his knack for intelligent analysis of the music industry. He’s optimistic about the future of the industry and praised the torchbearers for holding down positive lyrics and promoting sanity in their video.

Musicians from Nima-Mamobi are already standing shoulder-to-shoulder with mainstream artiste’s from any part of the country. An initial listen to his songs reminds listeners about the era of VIP— music laced with powerful ghetto lyrics and ‘home sense’. Given a little space in the industry, this multitalented young rapper-singer would wow crowds with his amazing songs and stage performances.

‘I am original, I do me. We are sailing in different boats and we have our ways. My music is my message’, he added.

‘Signed to Wayne City-Ghetto Youth Records has elevated me to a greater height’ he revealed. Trixx signed onto the record label about a year ago and according to him, he’s fully ready to kick the road running. After sleepless nights in the recording studio with his producer DJ Wayne, an EP is almost at the delivery stage anytime sooner.

The only one to do music from a family of scholars, the Bolgatanga born Nima-based musician confesses that his love for poetry led him into rap music. ‘I did general arts in school and I was passionate in literature so I pick up poetry as my first love but I it wasn’t long before I started rapping’, Trixx disclosed.

His first major hit song ‘Baamubari’ to wit ‘we’re not going to stop’ earned him a golden name in the Nima-Mamobi community and now, Trixx says he’s fired up to bless the whole Ghana with his melodic tunes.

Trixx sees himself ‘flowing’ with the likes of Sarkodie, M.anifest and Stonebwoy other major stars in the next few years. But for now, all hail the newest kid on the block.
