This year’s Chale Wote Street Art Festival, put together by ACCRA [dot] ALT and REDD KAT Pictures in collaboration with a number of cultural outfits, comes off August 20 —26.

Holding under the theme “Para—other,” the festival will consist art fairs, workshops, a masquerade jam,  film screenings, and musical concerts.

The event, as usual, is expected to attract thousands, and will witness exhibitions from over 200 Ghana-based and international artists who will display their work across 10 locations in Jamestown—Accra.

Other  activities expected at the 6-day event include cookout sessions, handmade fashion, design and crafts at the Oblatsoobi Market, live historical tours of James Town, extreme sports stunts among others.
