Veteran dancehall act, Yogie Doggy (Samuel Twum), widely credited as a pioneering name in the genre in the country, is back after taking a significant hiatus.

Famed for multiple 90s classics both by himself, and as featured act, the ferocious vocalist has swiftly made his intentions apparent to whom it may concern –the king is back to reclaim his spot, and has no problem obliterating anyone/ anything serving as obstacle.

In a number of live video sessions he has held via Facebook since his return, he has called out top names in the terrain currently, most prominently, Samini and Stonebwoy, to a lyrical duel of sorts. With “godson” Shatta Wale, however, he has solidified a formidable alliance, often spotted recording music with him, or just hanging out.

Among Yogie Doggy’s most known records are Abena, Wo Ne Me Lady, Odo Ko Ye Akye, Te Mase among others.
