Yesterday, March 24, late singer, Ebony Reigns (Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng), made her final journey to the great beyond. A star that dimmed too soon, the “90s bad gal” who perished in a road accident last month, will forever be  a priceless treasure to Ghana and beyond.

Officiated by renowned preacher, Dr. Laurence Tetteh, Ebony’s funeral service, held at the forecourt of the State House in Accra, invoked truly sobering scenes from the multitude (which was a colourful blend of family, fans, sympathisers, and top showbiz names) which had thronged to the venue to pay their last respect.
