Popular dancehall singer Stonebwoy, via his Livingstone Foundation, has made a donation to the Accident Centre at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, to mark his 30th birthday (March 5).
He also footed outstanding bills of patients at the ward. A Facebook post by manager, Sidi Mohammed, points out that the gesture was also especially significant for Stonebwoy, who found himself in similar circumstances 15 years ago.
Winner of several awards including VGMA Artist of the Year and BET Best International Act: Africa (both in 2015), Stonebwoy is CEO of the BMG imprint (home to budding singer Kevin Boy), and is franchise act for ZYLOFON Music.
His fourth album, Epistles of Mama, was released December 12, last year.
