RuffTown singer Ebony Reigns (Priscilla Opoku – Kwarteng), tragically passed in a fatal collision Thursday night on the Kumasi -Sunyani road while returning from a family visit.

The sad news has drawn an outpouring of grief across the country and beyond. President of the republic, H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akufu Addo, Vice President Dr. Bawumia, ex- president John Mahama, hiplife legend Obrafour, and rapper Sarkodie are among high-profile Ghanaians who have penned tributes to the RuffTown act.

As expected, tribute songs have begun pouring in too. Ara -B, Enam, King Jerry, and highlife veteran Ofori Amponsah have all released tunes eulogising the fast-rising act. Kumasi- based FlowKing Stone has added to these odes with an emotive cover of Ebony’s Maame Hwɛ.

The compelling tune sees the rapper recount what a promising career lay ahead of Ebony, and lament the poor state of our roads.
