In an interesting twist of events, Ms. Cindy Coffee, a 2017 finalist of the Miss Universe Ghana pageant, is threatening legal action against media houses if her images is not taken off stories she was in. This is despite agreeing to terms of the contest, which is a prerequisite for entering.
Sources reveal to ENEWSGH exclusively, that the said contestant, who represented the Volta Region, is scorned from not winning the content, hence her current line of action, despite appending her signature to terms and conditions for the pageant on July 27, 2017.
Ms. Coffee was reportedly overconfident of being crowned ultimate winner, but was unpleasantly surprised when she wasn’t named among the top 5 finalists. This led to her mother storming out of the Labadi Beach hotel on September 2 last year, when the contest was being held.
Attended by key Ghanaian celebrities as Joselyn Dumas and Jackie Appiah, the night saw Ruth Quarshie receive the ultimate crown, and therefore, the nod to represent Ghana at the 2017/2018 Miss Universe Pageant.
Miss Universe Ghana is put together by Menaye Donkor’s MALZ Production.
