2017 winner of VGMA Best New Act Fancy Gadam, in unsurprising fashion, drew an estimated 6,000 fans to the Bukom Square in Accra last night (November 26) for his flagship “Gadam Nation Concert”.
The concert, because of what massive success it was, now cements his reputation not only as a Northern megastar, but also a national force to reckon with.
Put together by Sultan INC and 5M Music, the concert climaxes his tour of major cities across the country, which has been massively patronised, and seen performances from popular colleagues as Sarkodie, B4bonah, Ebony among others.
Supporting acts on the night included S.k.y, Lamale, Nii funny, Rudebowy, Gariba among others. The event was hosted by DJ Parara with music from Tamale based DJ Bone and all-star DJ Mynor.
Born Ahmed Mujahid Bello, Fancy is also a recipient of a BASS Award for Discovery of the Year, 2017 VGMA Best New Act, as well as a 2016 JIGWE award for Best New Artist, and has been associated with the likes of Medikal, Wiyaala, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie among others.
Fancy is author of several hit songs including Total Cheat (featuring Sarkodie), off his 2017 album “Mujahid’.
