Produced by American engineer Coptic, ace Ghanaian rapper Edem readies a new single off his forthcoming “The African Answer” album. The song features E.L, and Jayso.

Coming off the heels of his hugely successful maiden “Edem Fest” concert, the song, titled “Mighty Jesus”, is scheduled for a December 8 release.

Accompanying visuals are expected on the same day.

Active since 2009, Edem (born Denning Edem Hotor) is author of three critically received albums: Volta Regime, Mass Production, and Books and Rhymes, as well as numerous singles including Ghetto Arise, Heyba, Bougez, Bra Fremi Fremi, Nyedzilo, Kpordawoe, The One, Koene, Wicked and Bad, Gogaga among others.

Edem’s new album was co-produced by respected producer Coptic. The two have constantly collaborated on music, especially on Coptic’s The Rising Stars of GHseries.

Coptic, himself of Ghanaian origin, has produced chart topping songs for such artists as Notorious B.I.G, P Diddy, Usher, Snoop Dogg. This automatically elevates Edem’s upcoming album notches higher in terms of reviews.
