The one week observation for veteran highlife singer Awurama Badu has been set for the Efiduase Banko Presby JHS Park this Friday.
Commencing at 6 am, the ceremony is expected to draw hundreds of family, friends, industry colleagues, and sympathisers alike, whose lives have been affected greatly by the beloved singer.
Perhaps most popular for the love song ‘Medofo Adaada Me’, the singer is said to have passed on the night of Thursday, October 26, while on admission at the Effiduase Government Hospital (A/R).
A 2016 awards event put together by Values for Life (VFL) “‘A Night With Female Legends’” saw her being honoured for her contribution to Ghanaian music and culture.
She was 76.
