Here’s prolific young head Akan with his latest freestyle. Like the title suggests, the Helebaba man once again proves himself as potential “family head” as far as the Ghanaian rap terrain s concerned.
The nearly 6-minute record sees Akan render a delivery that is truly outstanding, but not necessarily surprising of him. So profound is his flow that it spills over several seconds after the instrumental has ended.
Akan released his self-titled debut EP in in March 2015, and has since then, grown from strength to strength — earning endorsement from icons as Da’ Hammer and Okomfour Kwadee. Possessing a prolific command of Twi ( the primary language of his delivery), he is author of Helebaba (ft. Worlasi), Flow No, Kae, among others.
