A-list turntablists DJ Bass and DJ Cue are set to go against each other in a highly-anticipated duel masterminded by broadcaster Jay Foley.

The Live Breakfast Club co-host stirred this duel with a series of Facebook posts on Monday, May 8.

DJ Bass won Best Scratch DJ at the just-ended 2017 Ghana DJ Awards, taking the mantle from Cue. As is the case with all award ceremonies, a lot of dissenting views arise –perhaps what occasioned the call for a scratch -off.

Radioandtvgh reports that Ghana DJ Awards founder Mercury Quaye is being engaged in talks to partner the event. Further negotiations are also reportedly being held with both Bass and Scratch on rules which should govern the competition, among other issues.

A definite date has yet to be announced, but the fraternity can expect the contest in coming weeks.
