Having entrenched himself as a force to reckon with up north (filling up the Tamale Stadium on a number of occasions), rapper Maccasio ( born Sherif Abdul-Majeed) is set to take on the nation’s capital come February 25th.

A Zola Music/ 69 Entertainment partnership, the Northern Xplosion Concert will see the Too Big rapper mount his first major stage in Accra, treating his many fans to the many anthems he has created over the years.

Recently signing to beverage dealers Giant Malt, Maccasio has also collaborated on projects with sought-after mainstream acts including Kofi Kinaata, Zeal (VVIP), and dancehall star Shatta Wale. Obviously an audacious choice of venue, the rapper appears unintimidated, as he will be in brilliant company consisting Iwan, Guru, Fareed, Rudebwoy Ranking, Bastero, Dr Cryme, Sherifa Gunu, Gaffachi, Morgan, Flawa, S K Y, Arisky, Dahin Sheli, Naa Body, as well as likely appearances from Shatta Wale and Wiyaala.

Pulled off correctly, this will bring him even closer to attaining recognition at this year’s edition of the prestigious VGMA awards slated for coming months. The show starts at 7 pm.
