The Ghana Francophone Challenge (GFC) is the first musical contest event between francophone artists organized by Alliance Française Accra and Chop Attièke. The goal of this event is to bring together all people from diverse cultural backgrounds on a musical platform. In the past 2 months, 20 francophone artists participated in GFC and they were shortlisted to 5. The remaining 5 contenders are ready and geared up to do their best and surely from them comes the winner on the grand finale at the Amphitheatre, Alliance Française Accra.
The grand finale of the GFC takes place on this special night Thursday 1st December 2016. After several weeks of outdooring talented Francophone singers, we shall see the one who emerges as the winner.
GFC supports orphans, therefore a part of the proceeds from the gate will be donated to charity.
During the event, special guest artists will grace the stage with their music:
- Bibie Brew, a renowned Ghanaian musician.
- Ogo GMA, an Award winning Gabonese musician.
- A Gabonese crew called « Elam N’Koss » will also perform a song written for orphans titled “Better Days”.
This programme will include a food fair organized by Chop Attièke where Ivoirian meal known as « Attièke » with grilled meats and alocco will be served on the spot. Please come and support a worthy cause and have fun while doing it!
