She lost the ultimate crown to India’s Dimple Patel. Miss Colombia, Yenny Carrillo and Miss Albania, Kristiana Skurra emerged first runner- up and second runner- up respectively.

“It was full of mixed feelings, everything inclusive;joy, fulfilment, honor, etc. The competition wasn’t an easy one at all because it was quite demanding. I fell sick, so sick that my strength couldn’t carry me anymore yet I gave of what I could, so to be recognised this way indeed is an honor. I’m just happy I sold Ghana the way could…”, she reveals to ENEWSGH about her experience at the contest.
A student of the Methodist University College, Pennina is the second model from Accra-based DSG Model Management to represent the country at such an international event. Last year, her colleague Maud Fadi was in São Tomé and Príncipe for the Exquisite Face of the Universe contest, after placing second at Miss Earth 2015.
