This year, the BAR concert which usually accompanies the release of EL’s BAR albums will come off on the 23rd of next month. The rapper, who also represented Ghana at this year’s Coke Studio Africa, is expected to parade several local and international colleagues at the gig.

EL launched BAR 3 back in September at the Kristals Night Club, Osu to wide praise. Usually a mixtape, rapper EL’s BAR project takes a different turn this year. BAR III, he announced, is a full-fledged album.

The album, entirely hip-hop, has been preceded by masterful singles as Body Bags, Love God, Portey Dey Be, and Lalafama. It brings together an international array of A-list acts including MI, Khuli Chana, Adoma, Stargo, Teephlow, Gemini, Joey B, Medikal, Ayat and Worlasi.

Born Elorm Adabla, EL is president of BBnZ Live, the record label on which he is signed. The label is also home to other music forces as Kojo-Cue, and Shaker. He has two studio albums and five mixtapes to his credit.
