Hosted by Hitz FM’s KMJ, rapper Dadie Opanka’s debut album Akwaaba, was attended by industry colleagues including Choirmaster, Donzy, Ephraim, Merqury Quaye, Kwaw Kese, and Coded (4×4).

The project was launched on October 22nd at at Viena City, Tema, and features appearances from such acts as Okyeame Kwame, Ben Brako, Castro, 4×4, Edem, and  Kwaw Kese.

The first 10 copies of the 18-track album reportedly sold at GHC1000. These ten included veteran deejay and promoter Dr Duncan, as well as the MP for Tema Central, Hon. Kofi Brako.

Aside Akwaaba, Opanka has released two prior mixtape: Since bursting unto the scenes, Opanka has also released 2 Mixtape Albums (Definition of T.E.M.A and Born Again).
