Reigning Vodafone Ghana music awards (VGMA’s) Artiste of the year EL will launch his BAR (Best African Rapper ) III this Friday at the Kristals Night Club, Osu.
Usually a mixtape, rapper EL’s BAR project takes a different turn this year. BAR III, he announced on radio days ago, will be a full-fledged album.
The album, entirely hip-hop, has been preceded by masterful singles as Body Bags, Love God, Portey Dey Be, and Lalafama. It brings together an international array of A-list acts including MI, Khuli Chana, Adoma, Stargo, Teephlow, Gemini, Joey B, Medikal, Ayat and Worlasi.
Born Elorm Adabla, EL is president of BBnZ Live, the record label on which he is signed. The label is also home to other music forces as Kojo-Cue, and Shaker. He has two studio albums and five mixtapes to his credit.
