International Ghanaian dancehall act Stonebwoy Burniton returned to Ghana Thursday after an extensive tour of Australia.
Answering questions from the press when he arrived at the Kotoka International Airport, he reminisced what an overwhelming experience it was for him, considering how widely the international media especially reported it. He recounted how fans (which also consisted nationals other than Ghanaians) chanted encores for his popular inspirational hit Go Higher.
Other recent high-profile gigs of the BET Award winner include the historic One Africa concert July 22, where he performed to over 15000 patrons at the Barclays Center, New York.
Born Livingstone Etse Satekla, Stonebwoy is CEO of Burniton Music Group, and won Artist of the Year at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
