Veteran Ghanaian actor, Kofi Middleton-Mends, whose death was reported  Tuesday evening,  died of kidney failure, a daughter of his has revealed.
Araba Botwey submitted to  myjoyonline.com that her dad was struggling with  kidney disease till his passing at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital yesterday.

Aside acting, Kofi Middleton-Mends was also a professor at the University of Ghana and the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI). He was reportedly rushed to hospital Monday dawn.

He died at 77, and was survived by his wife, and three children.
