Nigerian singer Patoranking has unveiled his much anticipated debut album “God Over Everything” in Accra.

The event which came off Saturday August 6th at the Best Western Premier Hotel, saw the “Girlie O ” hitmaker engage fans, media personnel, as well as other stakeholders in conversations surrounding the making of the album.

The album, a compilation of 16 songs – is a mix of various influences though underlined by dance-hall. It features such continental music heads as Wizkid, Olamide, Phyno, Elephant Man, Konshens and Kwam 1 the Ultimate.

Patoranking explains in a recent interview that he named the album ‘God Over Everything” because it best fits his musical journey;

“looking at how rough this journey started and where i am today – starting from the streets of Ghana where at a point in time I had to drop out of the Cape Coast University due to financial difficulties, then moved back to Nigeria where i serve under Timaya’s ‘Dem Mama Records’ for years before finally getting the green light”.

The album, released online August 1 on iTunes will also see similar launches in other destinations in Africa.
