Shatta Wale is not going to make the nomination list for this year’s Ghana Music Awards.

A press conference held by organizers, Charterhouse Productions, Tuesday suggested the artiste is yet to complete a process of rendering an apology to the event house and board of the awards, which he publicly ‘insulted’ several schemes ago.

Wale will only be considered for a nomination if the public apology is rendered, Director at Charterhouse, Theresa Ayoade said.

Today’s announcement comes months after news broke that he’s been banned for some three years.

The artiste recently changed his entire backroom staff, and has since undergone series of look-good makeovers aimed at restoring his appeal.

The team is yet to publicly respond to the decision.
