MultiChoice Ghana has announced yet another special promotion for the new Explora decoder hardware.
The cost of the Explora has been slashed from GHC 1182 to GHC 850 for the decoder only. New subscribers without the accessories will also get a fully installed Explora decoder for GHC 1199 instead of GHC 1530.
With the new asset finance partnership between MultiChoice Ghana and UT Bank, customers and qualified individuals may buy decoders and pay in installments over six months through the bank. All interested clients will only need to meet the credit terms of the bank, provide an ID with passport pictures and then be connected on to DStv after all requirements are met. Within 48 hours, UT Bank would have assessed and processed the application and if successful, advised the client to pick up the product.
The new DStv Explora decoder is a PVR decoder which gives viewers more control to personalize their DStv viewing experience. With the DStv Explora decoder, subscribers can save up to 220 hours of personal recorded content, view one programme while recording the other, pause live TV for up to 2 hours, retain buffering when changing channels, conduct word searches and personalize individual user themes.
The DStv Eplora also offers other value added on services such as DStv BoxOffice, which allows subscribers to rent blockbuster and watch at their own convenience, the DStv CatchUp, which gives subscribers the chance to watch their favorite TV Shows days after its been aired, and the DStvNow app, which also allows subscribers to view content on their laptop, when their power is off. The app is available for iOS and Android devices across all mobile platforms.
MultiChoice’s DStv service offers packages allowing subscribers flexibility in pricing and choice, and range from DStv Premium, DStv Compact +, DStv Compact, DStv Family and DStv Access bouquets. Specialist bouquets offer a range of exciting channels that cater specifically to various cultural and language markets such as the Indian, French, Chinese and Portuguese bouquets.
