For the first time in many releases, R2Bees opt for an ‘alien’ technical direction in Kaywa – away from their favourite ‘in-house’ hand, Killbeatz.

The Groove Zone Studios lead producer didn’t disappoint as he offered them the kind of instrumentation they’ve been used to – over the past two years.

Makoma is the duo’s first, major release for the year, and it sure would build its way up into mainstream acceptance.

On Makoma, Mugeez, the group’s other half beautifully rips into the highlife composition – with an amazingly soulful rendition that is sure to win it for them. From start to finish, he proves how of age he’s come, and delivers something almost legendary.

Paedae as usual plays sparring, and brings his own style to Makoma – making it an awesome piece in all.
