Musician, Qwesi, stands the chance of performing at the Tribe One Music Festival, taking place in South Africa from September 26-28.
He is amongst a number of artistes who might perform at the event based on the number of votes they get from a special competition being run by the organizers.
The Tribe One Initiation creates a platform for up to 150 unsigned artistes, to perform at the three-day festival.
Formerly known as Ded Buddy, Qwesi is one of the pioneers of the hiplife genre with hits including Yebesa.
He is currently working on his second album titled ‘Mipe WO Saa’.
If he gets to perform at the musical concert, he will join fellow artists, Sarkodie , Efya and FOKN BOIS as the Ghanaian representatives.
A performance at the event guarantees him a publishing and music distribution deal.
The concert is being headlined by Nicki Minaj, J.Cole, Kid Ink, Tiwa Savage, Khuli Chana, AKA, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, DBanj and Fally Ipupa.
Tribe One Music Festival will take place in Cullinan, Tshwane, South Africa.
