Kumasi-based bodybuilder Kwame Kwakye popularly known as “Barak Obama” has won Season III of TV3’s reality show Ghana’s Strongest.

The twenty-six year old won a 12,000GHC cash price, a giant gold trophy, gold medal and products from sponsors.

Second Runner Up, Courage Kofi Adukpo, walked away with 6,000GHC, Kofi Salia took home 4,000GHC while last year’s champion Sanni Mohammed walked away with 3,000GHC.

“It was tough and grueling, and from the experiences gathered from this season, next year promises nothing but fun and surprises” said the commissioners of this year’s contest.

The show begun with 12 body builders but 4 made it to the finals to compete for the 12,000GHC cash price.

Tasks included: tyre flip, keg toss, medley, duck walk, truck pull among others.
